Colorescience, a high growth omni-channel professional skincare brand, is seeking a Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Manager to manage its direct-to-consumer website Colorescience.com and help develop and execute marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring an enthusiasm and curiosity for website management and digital marketing, combined with a detail-oriented mindset and eagerness to contribute to the success of the team and the growth of a high caliber consumer brand.

Reports to:  Sr Director, Digital Marketing & Ecommerce

FLSA Status:  Exempt

Location:  Remote (local to Carlsbad, CA corporate office preferred but not required)

 

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of digital marketing experience and 2+ years of website management or ecommerce experience. Shopify experience a strong plus.
  • A track record of managing and executing complex and multi-faceted web projects.
  • Deep knowledge of web analytics (Google Analytics 4) and leveraging data to inform strategy and drive performance.
  • An attention to detail that ensures content is error-free, grammatically correct, and aligned with our brand identity and tone of voice.
  • Experience with Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and A/B testing programs and platforms.
  • Experience with Subscription and Loyalty program management and optimization.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, as well as video conferencing tools (Microsoft teams, GoToMeeting, Zoom, etc.).
  • The ability to make clear decisions that positively impact organizational goals and performance.
  • Motivated, self-starter, fast learner, organized, detail-oriented individual who is able to problem-solve by working both independently and cross-functionally.
  • A strong team-player with the ability to be flexible and collaborative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Description:

The Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Manager will drive the strategy and management of Colorescience.com, as well as assist in planning, creating, and executing digital marketing and ecommerce initiatives.

  • Responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing all activities related to Colorescience.com on Shopify, including product pages, landing pages, theme management, merchandising, product inventory, bundles, fraud management, quiz, etc..
  • Lead creation of digital content, including product pages, channel and campaign landing pages, etc., aligning content with overall marketing direction and objectives.
  • Work closely with external website agency and consultant to develop and execute on web development roadmap and continuously optimize site performance and compliance, staying within budget.
  • Work collaboratively across Marketing, Channel Leads, Customer Service, Operations and Tech to drive and convert traffic to profitable transactions and deliver revenue-generating experiences.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all facets of Colorescience.com and own the website calendar strategy.
  • Manage loyalty and subscription programs and provide optimizations to continuously boost retention and LTV KPIs.
  • Monitor and analyze overall web and digital marketing performance to identify, prioritize and execute appropriately.
  • Responsible for managing, understanding, and optimizing brand-elevating customer journey on Colorescience.com that drives revenue in a high quality, profitable way.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends and customer behavior, conduct site audits and QA and drive A/B testing strategy to identify areas for improvement.
  • Compile reports of key success metrics to Sr Director of Ecommerce and leadership team.
  • Bring a collaborative and high-performance approach within the team and across all functional areas.
  • Provide thought leadership with respect to web strategy, compliance, and emerging channels and technologies, and provide recommendations and proposed action plans for site improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
